IBTS, the parent company of DCIBTS, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, established to provide impartial evaluations, research and technical assistance to reduce the burden on Federal, state and local government agencies. DCIBTS is proud to carry on that tradition, seeking to provide outstanding services in plan reviews, inspections and training in the District of Columbia building community.
DCIBTS strives to provide private sector efficiency with governmental credibility. DCIBTS’s multidisciplined staff includes engineers, architects, inspectors and regulatory specialists with expertise in program administration, performance measurement, auditing, quality management, information systems and support, housing/building regulations, and design and construction contract administration.
